EL's game-A-diction

alright alright, holidays striking in. i am high on games. most favored is Left4dead and most flavored is PROTOTYPE. damn are these the shizz. but i really respect these games because of their introduction cinematic. hell yeah, the design, the story-lines, the cuts and transitions the mooood! it'll make you hyped up to go kill'em zombies. one thing good about killing zombies, they aren't dead because of you. if you know what i mean so, check this shizz out guys.

studio project: challenge your world

"kashmira kasmuri (group leader), muhammad fadhli and I teamed up for our end semester studio project. a great deal of thought was put through into this, due to the intense grading given. so here's basically the shizz we came up with. our studio project was based on this

artists to get involved by creating 20 wild, whimsical, and unconventional machines that solve

environmental issues. If were going to create a new world we have to challenge ourselves to think differently, so these videos blast beyond boundaries, explore crazy ideas, and question the status quo.>>

we settled on a particular style approach first to convey our message. we were inspired by " catch me if you can " opening sequence.

after, we made four style frames each then later join the styles together to get one original style.

then it truned out as so,..

jointment of kashmira's curves, didi colors and my illustrations but that didnt really work out. so i redid 30 panels for the storyboard. rather irrelavent now, but these are the end style frames. below.

after i finalized this, the rest helped. kashmira's concept research was brilliant. fadhli's motion and design was very easy for me to work hand in hand with. so we added music, engineered by me and narration , whom fadhli and kashmira took charge off. and ended with great remarks on presentation day. this is the outcome.

"Integrated Assignment the THIRD - i used cornstarch and ink to convey the emotion of " ON A HIGH " after studying the mood, and the two elements. i whipped up some music and started work on AE CS4. this is the out come. but i need not have to work on mine only. i had to organize time so i can help out my group-mates with theirs. the most time given was for dion's piece. he had no idea how to work with one footage of coke to express the emotion of 'celebration'. so i had an epiphany and help him with the work. what to do? made it into some equalizer graphics. it was esthetically pleasing although form study wasn't there. THUS i studied a great skill. To make ALOT of 'best' with minimum sources. youll get what i mean. after that dion made it his own by cutting up my video. and processing it appropriately. therefore having the outcome as shown below...

"2nd integrated assignment- to create four post cards based on my interpretation of the theme of "MAKE me BEAUTIFUL". since i am a graffiti artist. i was trying to make graffiti the point. but got bad remark for this. they said i should emphasize more on the beauty of graffiti rather than the conflicts it has. but my point of view was, for example wanna stop the war in iraq, you dont show how beautiful iraq is. i mean i would rather show the death toll or something and say " you really want this to continue". well thats me. but the director complimented on my illustrations. have to work harder tho'.
